This place was a total surprise. It's a great neighborhood fast food diner with great choices and really good service.
Great southern cooking down gone family atmosphere. Service is fast. We usually call in and order and pick it up. I'll food is always ready on time
What a delight! A REAL hamburger! I am not usually in the area but I will make an effort to go back soon! The service was fast and brought out with a smile! My only disappointment, there was no pie! There was banana pudding. A diner with no pie! We need pie!
been past here dozens of times and I never thought about stopping; the brick-to-glass ratio is all wrong because, well, you know... it's kannapolis. but today in the rain it called to me... better late than never I suppose. so I get in and have a look and there's tables to one side and a counter to the other with a menu board behind that listing a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and other morsels of good repute according to the kids at the counter. I asked about coffee and a fresh pot was set to brewing as I went back and forth between a dog and fries and a patty melt before deciding on the chicken sandwich special which basically comped the fries. meanwhile the coffee finished and I got topped off and found a seat. My sandwich arrived shortly looking about like I expected; topped with lettuce and tomato, add a smear of mayo and surround by a pile of fries that I am pretty sure started the day in the freezer but they did alright on my plate; hot and crispy and played well with the ketchup. kinda lingered over lunch, and got seconds on the coffee. left comfortably full but not bloaty and feeling good for skipping a sweet. there's hershey's ice cream if you want.
Great food. The Chicken tips or beef tips with mashed potatoes and green beans, The patty melt with bacon and extra crispy fries these are my favorite choices.
Took 5 sips and the drink was gone. Wayyyyy too much ice. Good food tho. Would come back.
Food was good. The fries were just okay, not very fresh, and the hush puppies were average. The patty melt was delicious. The service was excellent, however, the menu had much to choose from, and I really appreciated the fact that they were playing Christian music.
